Negotiations
Did you know that:
- More than 95 percent of all civil claims are concluded by negotiation, not litigation
- Only some claims eventually go to trial and get a verdict and out of those that do, a substantial portion are settled by negotiation while court procedures are still ongoing
- Credible and reliable business relationships and best solutions are created through negotiation
The ability to conduct effective negotiations is one of the key competences that a lawyer must have. Negotiation, rather than court lawsuits, is by far the most frequently used method to resolve conflicts and claims. It is the process that combines legal knowledge, practice, and interpersonal skills to achieve desirable results. We like to think of negotiation as being a critical aspect in a law practice.
